Information and Communication Technologies 

     Information and Communication Technologies or ICT stresses the role of unified communications and the integration of telecommunications as well as necessary enterprise software, middleware etc, which enables users to access, store, transmit, and manipulate information. The phrase "information and communication technologies" has been used by academic researchers since the 1980s. In modern society ICT is ever-present, with over three billion people having access to the Internet. ICT plays a role in facilitating accelerated pluralism in new social movements today. It can also be used to garner grassroots support for a cause due to the internet allowing for political discourse and direct interventions with state policy. 

I myself use ICT, when I am using any electronic device sucah as a phone, computer etc, I need storage as well as wireless signals. It helps us manipulate information by browsing through any system softwares. It can be used in schools, houses or any place that involves the use of telephone or computer networks.
